What's there to do at the Canadian? We want to hear about what you did and saw while staying at this resort.

There are so many things to do in North Vancouver. We did a lot however there are so many other things I want to do. I will definetly be back.

What we did do:

Capilano Suspension Bridge - A suspension bridge 230 feet above the Capilano River. Cliffwalk allows visitors to explore cliff side ecosystem from a series of narrow walkways and glass platforms high aove the rumbling Capilano River. A cheaper option is the Lynn Canyon suspension Bridge it's free.

Vancouver Zoo -

Grouse Mountain - Ziplining, hiking, Skyride

Lighthouse Park - Lighthouse, walking trails, picnic spots

Stanley Park - A must see! It includes the "Seawall" It is 5.5 mile promenade, it takes 2 to 3 hours to walk or about an hour to ride a bike. The park includes the Vancouver Aquarium, Lost Lagoon, totem poles, Third Beach & the Miniature Train, Rhododendron Garden, Rose Garden, Perennial Garden and Shakesphere Garden.

Chinatown - Chinatown is one of the city's earliest communities. It has unique restaurants, night markets and real taste of china.

VanDusen Botanical Garden -Opened in 1975, the garden is renowned as one of North America's top ten botanic gardens. It is open year round and features spectacular floral gardens.

Queen Elizabeth Park - Perched on top of Vancouver's point, park offers incredible views of the Vancouver skyline as well as beautiful gardens and arbortum. The Blodel Conservatory contains a tropical rainforest, free flying birds and desert plants inside a large geodesic dome.

Science World -

Granville Island - Wander the shops, boutiques, and galleries. Great for organic vegetables and Farmer's Market.

Gastown - cobbled streets, a thriving and diverse urban community, shops, restaurants, explore historic buildings, courtyard, visit one of the few steam clocks, and gassy jack's statute

Robson Street - Robson Street is Vancouver's most famous shopping street and not without reason. In a 3 block stretch, between Hornby and Bute Street, there are dozens of shops, restaurants, tourist places, etc.

Spanish Banks & Jericho - a silky white sand beach with the city in the backdrop

Vancouver Canucks - Go to a hockey game

Canada Place/Imax - stroll the scenic Canada Place pier, watch majestic cruise ships, steps from Skytrain, and the Olympic Torch. In the evening watch as the Canada Place's sails light up in a dynamic display of a dynamic display of imagery, light and animation.

Inukshuk Statue - (Olympic logo) It on the south side of English Bay

Lion's Gate Bridge/Prospect Point - Beautiful photo opportunities

Engine 374 - Engine 374 was brought to Vancouver in 1887. It was used as a transcontential train until 1945. The engine was placed in Kitsilano Park and suffered many years of weather and children playing on it. In 1983, citizens banned together to restore the engine, they raised $400,000 to refurbish it. It took 3 years, and became a prime attraction at EXPO 86. It now resides at Roundhouse Community Center.

BC Place -

Plaza of Nations - is a natural site for large scale events.

Skytrain -

Vancouver Lookout Tower - a 360 degree view of the city, at the top is the Vancouver Revolving Restaurant
