Hi- We love McCall...but don't tell anyone! wink The rooms are modern, clean and nice. We stayed in an upstairs room in early Sept. - weather was amazing, biked all over, tons of bike paths! It was very quiet at this time. Coming back with whole family in Aug 2019...renting a boat and bringing bikes.
Only complaint is no blackout curtains in rooms.

Adult Only Swim Time Going Away

For those interested in keeping an Adult Only Swim time for the first and last hour at our Worldmark Resorts, please email the Board members letting them know you would like to keep it. Apparently it has been decided that this is to be removed at all resorts. It has not been implemented yet, so now is the time to let them know if you would like to keep it.

My wife has a bad back and really appreciates having the 1st hour of the day for Adult only as she uses the pool almost every day for her back problems. She was kicked accidentally by a kid in one of the Worldmark pools resulting in needing to have back surgery.

Families with kids have the majority of the day to utilize the pool. It is not unreasonable to have 1 hour in the morning for Adult Only.

We're here right now! The weather is GREAT! Cool in the mornings and nice (low 70's!!) in the heat of the afternoon. Great weather. NOISY, potty-mouthed neighbors below us for a while last night but all is good today... Took kids & G-kids to the pool and had a great time. Gonna go walk aroud town for a bit today. Hit the Farmer's Mkt yesterday- YUMMMMMM. Then cruised the State Park also. Beautiful. Hit two brewpubs for great suds & snacks. McCall Brewing for nachos---- HHHUUUGGGEEE----.Our first time to McCall WM- but NOT our last! This is our 102nd stay at a WM resort, and counting! On to Eagle Crest Monday---- the Old Coach.

We love McCall! Units are lovely, not with lake view, but nice wooded views. There is a small indoor pool and hot tub on sight, and an outdoor pool that is available to WM owners down the street. Our friends took their bikes and we rented some because there is great bike paths all around. We rode our bike to Ponderosa State Park (not far at all) and hiked to Ospery Point Lookout and then put our feel in beautiful Payette Lake. If you like water, there is many things to do/rent there. There's fishing, canoeing, kayaking, jet boats, padding boards, water skiing - you name it! You see deer, squirrels, racoons, Ospery, hawks at WM, and even an occasional bear. Two broke into the garbage bins at WM (in the middle of the night, though). We also saw a fox while riding bikes. We also rented canoes and paddled up the Payette River and saw a cow moose and her baby. Very exciting. Walking and exploring the cute town is very fun, and we enjoyed eating at Ramano's right on the lake. We also love to drive to Rosebury and tour the old town. There are several hot springs in the area, plus a ski lift up to Brundage for some great views. There is LOTS to do! The hikes are great also. Have a wonderful time!

We will be going to McCall next June. This is our first Worldmark vacation. Does anyone have pictures to post, advice, or just plain good to know information?
