We stayed in StGeorge March/April and enjoyed the selection of food especially with things opening back up. Places we tried and would return to were: Kneaders (sandwiches), Green Iguana (Mexican), Tropical Cafe (smoothies), Texas Roadhouse (bbq). Lots more to try next time we go. Enjoy your stay at WM St George!

Veyo Pies, located in the town of Veyo a little west of St. George, was recommended by a St. George employee. Got a great BBQ sandwich and pie. Definitely worth a little drive. It's very popular, for a good reason. You can get whole pies or pie by the slice, all homemade.

After visiting the St George resort, we fell in love and moved to the area. For a FANTASTIC view, great food, and great service go to the Cliffside Restaurant for lunch or dinner. We have eaten there 4 times and haven't been disappointed yet. In my opinion, it is a much better value than Painted Pony (which has no view).

Benja's Thai is really good too.

We stopped over here a night coming and going from Wolf Creek. We ate breakfast at Black Bear diner at the Bluff exit off the 15. Good omelettes - huge plates though! My two egg veggie omelette was enough to feed 4 people!

There is an Albertson's grocery up the road a mile or two on Dixie. Drive out of the residential neighborhood and turn left on Dixie.

The Fairway Grill is now closed and a Chinese restaurant has opened in that location.

We have been to the ST. George resort several times. We use to go to 'Bear Paw' coffee/cafe downtown. It has a great selection of various coffee types to try, with great Indian, Cowboy, pictures on the wall. It is a small place, but it's good for breakfast. However, this last time we got hooked on eating at 'Black Bear' diner, which is in the parking lot of CLARION hotel. Black Bear is great for any meal, and is fun with it's log & bear motifs all over the place. There was a 'Del Taco' we went to that had an indoor children's play room. It has more selection than Taco Bell. We went to a Taco Bell and were disapointed because they gave us our bag of tacos we ordered, but they forgot to put in the meat!! We took the bag back, and they fixed the order, but we never ate there again.

If you are looking for top-notch dining experiences, check Tripadvisor.com for recommendations. We went to the Painted Pony which has won multiple awards for best restaurant in St. George and I could see why. We also went to Xetava Garden Cafe for lunch which was amazingly good with outstanding views and in the middle of an artist community. A must-see in my opinion.

Don't laugh... Honolulu Grill has some of the most authentic Hawaiian food I've come across on the mainland. It's a diner/fast food style, but the portions are generous. Love it. Over by the university.
