This is quite late, but I've only recently come to "forum." Just a heads up about RCI resort rankings.
In 2012 we went through RCI and stayed at Dona Lola in Malaga, Spain. It was listed as a "Gold Crown" resort. It is no where close to that level. I'll not list the disappointments; however, when I called RCI upon our return to seriously question the "Gold Crown" rating on this resort I was told the ratings are "relative" to the area in which the resort is located. That is, what might be at one level in one area, may be considerably less in another. That is, in my mind, a highly questionable practice, but it reminds me, you cannot trust the RCI ranking system. Malaga is a nice area; that resort is grossly over-rated at the Gold Crown level, and nowhere near what WorldMark owners have come to expect at our resorts.
We've had other RCI exchanges that were satisfactory, but this one left wondering if we would ever do that again.

Yes, your price is too high. And you also need to list your email address so people could contact you to make offers.

Did you have to "join RCI" first before using the Confirm first link on WM web page? In other words, did you have to pay $89 just to see if RCI had what you wanted? ANY advice is appreciated!!!

Wanting to go to Oahu,Hawaii during Christmas 2013 with 5 people, but WM has nothing that big, so should I join RCI to do the exchange? I have never done that before, any advice or steps to take would be greatly appreciated!

Have I ever been suckered! I just returned from a couple of days at Tahiti Vacation Club, very close to the WM Tropicana resort. When I checked in, they said that RCI now requires a $40 fee for points exchangers, booking less than a week. Well, that really, really stinks! I have to give up a housekeeping token AND have to pay an EXTRA $40 for LESS than a week??!!!!! It cost me MORE for housekeeping than if I had stayed a week???!!!! Not only that, while Tahiti Vacation Club is nice enough, I would put it a step below WorldMark and certainly NOT worth any extra cost.

Don't get me wrong, I have no problem with paying for housekeeping for every stay, whether it is overnight or a week. What I have major problems with is being charged MORE because I booked less than a week with RCI.

I wouldn't mind if I pay a housekeeping charge when booking with RCI points as long as they didn't take away one of my housekeeping tokens. Just don't do BOTH!

I have no idea what this particular resort is like, but if it is a Gold Crown resort it will probably be pretty nice. I try to stick with Gold Crown resorts, and in reality haven't been too disappointed. It is always a bit of a gamble if you haven't seen the resort. Good Luck!

How did your time in Mazatlan go? My family and I are going this June and just wanted to get some tips before we leave. I will be taking a 7 and a 5 yr old too.

Thx, Chris
