Have you stayed at Sundance? Here's your chance to tell other owners what it's really like. How hot was the hot tub? What do you wish you had known before you left home?

Any new owner reports about Sundance Whistler? Last one I read was from 2011. Not much information. How close is it to skiing? Thx.

We stayed in a one bedroom plus on the third floor. Awesome view of Alta lake, the valley and snow capped peaks. The parking lot was a mess of construction of drainage for the units to the right of Worldmark. Once we got to the lobby, we were welcomed, and got right to our room. This was no tired unit, it looked sharp, was comfortable, had a nice fireplace, great views from the LR and master bedroom. The hot tub sits in the open air with a great view... This was a great first visit for us to Whistler.

"Just stayed at the Sundance and was not disappointed. It was a smooth check in and the staff was very helpful."

This was our first Worldmark stay for a week in January. We were a party of 8 and enjoyed the unit immensely. The lobby and common areas are nothing to look at---in fact very tired and dark but the actual room was wonderful. Easily 4 star quality in furnishings and appointments. We had the 3 bedroom with balcony with 2 full bathrooms/ 2 flat screened tvs. Good view but not of Whistler. The parking lot is not covered so be prepared to scrape away the snow/ice in the morning. We drove down everyday to the Creekside free underground parking and put our gear on in the parking lot. This is what the non overnighters do every morning when they drive up from Vancouver. You can also hire a locker or are given one free if you hire from can ski at creekside. Do not walk down to the lifts. This is much preferable to walking up the giant hill at the end of the day. The drive down is about 2 minutes. If you got a car, this is an excellent location---good service from the staff for any extra linen/necessities and was very quiet compared to Cascade Lodge. But the thing is you need a car for this resort---no buses come to the resort. My suggestion is to update the common areas and to provide a better lobby area and hot tub for people to linger and mingle. Get rid of the useless ski room that no one uses. Also to provide a shuttle service to the lifts at the end of street...even if it runs every hour.
