What's there to do at Coral Baja and in the Los Cabos area? We want to hear what you did and saw while staying at this resort.

Has anyone done a day trip from CB to Espiritu Santo Island? One way is to go to La Paz and then boat over. Is there a boat that will take you there direct?

No word of any construction projects in the near future.
Weather is nice here, highs are in mid to upper 70's, lows in upper 50's to lower 60's.
Windy from time to time.
The pool temp is great as is the hot tub.
Good time to be here, not overly crowded.

We just booked for February 10-17, 2011. It was a rush decision so I did not have time to research anything. Please can someone confirm there will be no construction or resurvacing of anything at Coral Baja. I am afraid we always book something then the resort decides to do contruction. We were at Indio and they let us know two weeks in advance they were closing the lazy river. Last time in Cabo there was construction everywhere.
Thanks

To date, there are no plans for the pool to be offline in October of 2011. Unless an unexpected emergency arises, the pool will be open.

Just got back after 10 days in Cabo. We didn't rent a car and we got around just fine. The busses get you where you need to go and are pretty cheap (certainly cheaper than the gas and rental car). From Coral Baja you can get a bus allthe way into Cabo San Lucas. It drops you off very close to the marina and right in the middle of the shopping area. If you want to schedule an activity, most of them include pick up from the condo. We did zip lining and ATV tour and had round trip transportation for both. For the fishing trip we had to take a cab ($35 each way) but that's the only time - it was too early for the bus. The Mega is very close for shopping. It's downhill from the Mega back to the condo so it's an easy walk even carrying groceries. I've been there twice and if I go again, I will still opt for no car.

The spa is quite expensive. While walking around Cabo San Lucas we found several places that have much better prices. We stopped at one near Squid Roe $25 for 70 minutes. I was skeptical at first but they did an excellent massage.
