What's there to do in San Diego? We want to hear about what you did and saw while staying at this resort.

Park at Balboa Park and take the hop on hop off tours $39, 5 bucks off through the concierge. Hop off in Coronado, have lunch there. Midway Aircraft Tour has free audio and is a great tour with docents, many are Vets who served on the boat. Older teens will love the flight trainer simulators. Lots of planes, like a big museum. Got to meet a WWII vet on our tour and thank him for his service to our country.

Mile or so walk to museums in Balboa Park from Inn at the Park. Hop on hop off trolley goes to Coronado... $39 each, five bucks off through concierge. Lots of folks walked to Mimi's for breakfast.

As previous poster mentioned, Balboa Park is a great place to walk around. You can choose to go in the museums or just enjoy strolling around the park and looking at the buildings and gardens.

Sunset Cliffs is a beautiful drive along the coast. If you choose to, you can head all the way to the tip of Point Loma to the Cabrillo Monument and light house.

Belmont Park and Mission Beach is a fun spot for a family beach day.

If you want to rent kayaks or stand-up paddleboard and have fun in the calm waters of the bay, check out Mission Bay Sports Center on Mission Bay.

La Jolla Cove is a great place to walk around along the coast. You can rent snorkel gear and swim with the orange garibaldi fish. Then walk towards Children's Pool to see the seals sunbathing on the sand. You can also schedule a kayak tour of the La Jolla sea caves from La Jolla Shores beach.
