Things to Do With Kids - Indio

Indio is a great place to vacation with children. Tell us what you found to do at the resort and in the area with your little ones.

The WM Indio is an amazing property for ALL ages! We love the Living Desert and Zoo in Palm Springs. The Joshua Tree National Park, and behind the WM Indio is a service road that has a couple of paths to hike up to it. If you walk the entire length of that service road along the edge of the property, you have an unobstructed view of the northern valley and mountains, the entire WM Indio property and golf courses to the south, and into the town of Indio to the west. On our service road hike, we saw a migration of at least 100 giant caterpillars, quail, rabbits, a giant red shouldered hawk, several giant and strange insects, counted more than 20 stray golf balls in the bushes, and had an amazing sunset - all in a couple of hours journey.

The WM Indio property is amazing for kids! There were wild geese, ducks and rabbits at the property both times I was there. There is a basketball court, tennis, video games, pool tables, the giant swimming pools, smaller kiddy pools, the lazy river and a playground.
