Piss-poor internet speed at WorldMark in Nice, CA. Complained online and by phoning DB support yesterday. Said they would check things out and call me back. NO CALL BACK. Still only 960kbps this morning. Kicks off most apps on my iPad and too slow on my MacBook Air for streaming anything. Hope somebody at corporate reads this. I am also posting on the WorldMark owners website to see if others have complaints about DB's internet which we pay extra to get with TravelShare.

We haven't been there in awhile, but don't remember the internet speed being a problem.

What is the status of the WM Clear Lake Resort in wake of the Northern CA fires? Did the resort survive? It's so sad what's going on there. I hope staff and guests are safe.

According to the fire maps, the fire is on the other side of the lake. However, many parts of the county have been told to be ready to evacuate and the air quality is bad.

Am planning to stay at Clear Lake Resort in early October 2021. Would like to know if the CA wildfires are affecting this resort? What is the condition of the lake now? I read in some earlier posts that it was polluted and couldn't be used. What activities are there around this resort, e.g., hiking, shopping? Thank you for your responses.
