Tell us about the sand, surf, sun or to watch the storm on the beach you enjoyed the most. Where's the place to go for beach-combing, shell or agate hunting, best sunset, roughest surf, or best view? Where are the lighthouses and which one was the best? Tell us how to find them and what we need to bring along.

Best Surfing: We rented boards and wetsuits from Ossie's Surf Shop and walked across the street to Agate Beach. Three of us surfed, while the rest of the family enjoyed their time on the sandy shore. We lucked out and had a beautiful, sunny day. The waves were great and the lineup was uncrowded! Very different than what we're used to in San Diego.

After surfing, we went to the Yaquina Head Lighthouse. Park and get out to walk around the lighthouse. The wind and birds on the west side of the lighthouse are fun and entertaining. We then walked down the path to the Cobble Beach to check out the tidepools and climb around on the rocks.
