Why is there a $200 security deposit for this resort? Since when did owners need to pay a security deposit? I would think the maintenance fees are quite enough.

Why is there a $200 deposit required? I see it is refundable but I am curious why it is needed in the first place. Is this location not a true worldmark resort?
