I am trying to decide if booking at the Dolphins cove is going to be a mistake?
All the comments about this place not being clean makes me worry! Any advice?

I've never been there but it looks pretty nice to me. In this video the furniture looks more modern than some I have stayed at. http://youtu.be/XKN84PxD5-M

I'm taking the entire family to DC June 2016. Is this resort within walking distance to Disneyland?

If not, is there a shuttle service available?

Anyone been there recently? I'm a little concerned about some of the comments from a few years ago about the condition of the units.

I can be emailed directly at silver3@comcast.net if you would like.

We stay ~2x/year. Our most recent stay was Aug 2015 -- 1BR unit. Everything was clean and in working order; no complaints on room condition. The air conditioner (wall mount in the living room) was a bit underpowered for the unit -- but we kept the drapes closed when away during the daytime to help keep things cool.

We have no troubles walking to the Disneyland Resort property from D'Cove. If you would prefer a shuttle, check the Anaheim Resort Transportation (ART) system at: http://rideart.org
There is an ART pickup right around the corner from the D'Cove entrance.

Thanks for the information on walking to the resort. Hopefully our June visit will be a little cooler.

Our family visited Dolphins Cove in Anaheim, CA in August 2016. Perfect trip. The rooms were exactly what we expect of a Worldmark Resort. The staff was wonderful and treated us like 5 star guests. They offer extra things that other resorts do not offer. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone. It gave us the ability to have a scenic vacation as well as a vacation we could blend with Disneyland. We celebrated my birthday and college graduation. Lots of perks on the month of birthday at different places such as Disney Park, Pirate dinner, ect.

There is no resort shuttle, but you can get passes to the local bus, ART, for 1, 3 and 5 day passes. They even have a pass kiosk right on site (next to the pool/clubhouse). The stop is right around the corner in front of dennys restaurant. Further down is the toy story parking lot. They have a sign posted out front telling of no walk ins, but we saw plenty who ignored it and came in anyway. Disney staff didn't seem to care the few days we were there. It is a free trip to the gate if you do it that way.

As for the resort, it was impeccably clean while we were there over labor day weekend. Our unit was a 2bdrm and everything was updated. Clean and well kept.

I have seen after reading the posts on here, and am wondering if this resort is still as good as most have said. It has been years since anyone posted on here, and we are leaving on Saturday for a week, taking the grandson to Disneyland, and we are wondering if this resort is still like everyone said it was years ago. Thanks. And we are enjoying our times away. Have been owners since Trendwest days.

We've been twice in the past 12 months. We found everything to be clean, comfortable and in working condition. The units are not typical Worldmark but the location and the gated parking are both appreciated. We very much enjoy having this property available to us through Worldmark!

Things to know:
  • The units do not have in-room laundry. There is a shared laundry facility for the property.
  • Some 1BR unit configurations have the bathroom tucked inside the bedroom; that is, you must walk through the bedroom to reach the bathroom.
  • Kitchens are small but reasonably equipped.
  • This is a Wyndham managed property, not Worldmark.
