We stayed here in Nov. of 2013 in a Studio Parlor. I was surprised at the size of the studio parlor! Normally I like at least a 1 bedroom place---usually a 2 bedroom for the larger living space, but this studio parlor was like have a large living space in the day and a large bedroom at night when the murphy bed was folded down. The kitchen was full size (including a dishwasher), unlike the ones in the 2 bed and king bed units which have a small fridge and microwave, but no oven or stove. It's also considerably larger then the 2 bed and king bed units. The 2 bed room is on one side of the parlor and the king is on the other, so it is possible to rent a parlor and either/or both of the other units and they will try to give you connecting units so you can open the connecting doors and have a 1 or 2 bedroom unit. The only problem with that is I assume they will charge you the $22/day fee for each room. The table in the studio parlor is round and sits 4 easily. There are table settings for 4 and lots of cooking utensils. The murphy bed is unique in that is folds down over the couch so there's lots of room and it's very comfortable. The ac unit is on the wall across from the head of the bed and keeps the whole room nice and cool. The large patio juts out past the units on either side of the parlors (they have patios, too, but the rooms aren't as deep as the parlors. We had a 1st floor level at the top of the hill which didn't have much of a view, but we weren't there much anyway. We did drive down to the beach and pool--plenty of parking spots down there. The bathroom/changing room had a safe in it, but they didn't have a master key for it and it was locked. The closet and vanity/sink were separate from the toilette and shower room. No tub, but the shower was quite large. I would gladly stay there again! Only thing missing was a washer and drier!
I'll include a link to my blog in case anyone is interested in pictures:

The regular studio parlors do not have the lofted ceilings, therefore I doubt any of them are on the top floor.
