Have you stayed at Eagle Crest? Here's your chance to tell other owners what it's really like. Where is the sports center, is there more than one? How big is the pool? How hot is the hot tub? What do you wish you had known before you left home?

I want to say I really appreciate the extra miles the Worldmark staff goes to help owners. Nico and Karen helped us out when we came on July 14th around 7:30 PM without reservations (couldn't get through because it was after 5 PM while we were traveling here from Wisconsin and we were around Burns, OR).

Nico and Karen spent about a half hour helping us to find a unit that wasn't occupied for us to stay in for one night. It was the last available unit and was vacated early because the people in it left one day early.

They did a great job and we (my wife and I) really appreciated it very much. It show how much the staff cares about it's owners and about how much they enjoy the work they do.

This has been our favorite family resort for the past 30 years. It is the main reason we bought into Worldmark. We have had several family reunions here when we've booked several units. We have also seen the town of Bend grow during this time with better restaurants and more things to do. It is our first choice for a drive to from The South Bay of California.

In January, our family of 4 stayed in a 2 bedroom unit on the Eagle Crest side of the resort (not in the lodge). Of all the 2 bedrooms we've stayed in, Eagle Crest has some of the most spacious units. The living/dining/kitchen area has more than enough space for a group of 4 (in fact, would have still been comfortable for a group of 6). The units back up to a green space (which was snow covered and beautiful during our stay). In addition, the units had been updated since we stayed a few years ago.

There was quite a bit of snow, and the staff at the resort did a great job of keeping the roads and walk areas clear.

Since it was winter and VERY cold, the sports center on the Eagle Ridge side was open (pool was open; hot tubs closed). In the summer, there are additional outdoor pools open on both sides of the resort. The sports center does provide pool towels, but they are a bit small and thin for my liking and the short walk from the pool to the locker room is quite chilly.

In year's past, when there wasn't any snow, the resort has a fun putting course open (even in the winter) for a reasonable fee.

There were a few coordinated activities on-site, but we did not check these out during our stay.

If you haven't been to this resort, or it's been a while since your last visit, our family highly recommends this location. While you may not be right next to all the action (skiing, sledding, breweries, hiking, etc), you are only a short drive away.

On July 5, 2015, our family of 4 stayed in the Hotel room for one night as we were passing through.
The hotel was very clean and we were greeted by friendly staff. The property is spread out with lots of trails for running, biking, or walking. We had a snack at the bar in Niblick and Greene’s, the casually elegant restaurant. The bartender was kind and friendly; the nachos were great! The exercise room was a bit bigger than most resorts and there were several pools on the property. We tried the Aerie Café in the morning for breakfast. The fruit was fresh and the outdoor patio was great! We had no problems at all and wish we could have stayed longer. This resort is one that can be a "destination" vacation, never leaving the property because there are so many activities. Look up all the ammenities and you will be surprised.

We stayed at Eagle Crest over February 1,2,3. We got a one-bedroom unit. I did not realize that meant we would be in the hotel part. We had no oven and no dining room table. We did fine, just should have read the description of the room! We have Eagle Crest again in November and have a two bedroom unit, which we have had before and it was fine.
Just know that, if you want a one-bedroom unit.

We have stayed at Kihea, Kuaui, Birch Bay, Victoria, Steamboat Springs, Leavenworth, Canmore, Running Y, Seaside, Surfside. Love our ownershìp!
