Have you stayed at WorldMark Havasu Dunes? Here's your chance to tell other WorldMark owners what it's really like. How big is the pool? How hot is the hot tub? What do you wish you had known before you left home?

Been here for 2 weeks in a 1 bedroom unit.We found the unit comfortable and the king size bed was great. Kitchen is adequate, not huge but full size stove, frig, dishwasher etc. Units are smaller than most 1 bedroom units but we don't spend a lot of time in the room. Lots to do here in Havasu. Hiking, biking, kayaking, off road riding. It's great. Parking is under units and is low, but there are a few uncovered spaces around the complex. The complex is set up in 3 strips. Units right along the road, the units up the center, and another along the back. We are in the center strip, no view of anything except unit behind us and parking area in front. Try to get a unit in either front or back but not center. I will try to post some pictures on trip advisor.

We planned to stay at Havasu Dunes July 12-15, 2016 in a 1 bedroom unit. We found several issues with this resort. There is absolutely no Worldmark or Wyndham signage. The front desk staff stated the relationship with Worldmark was new and that this was not a Worldmark owned resort.
Upon arrival we were offered a lake view unit. The unit had a view of I-95 and we could make out a small sliver of Lake Havasu if we looked at just the right angle. The unit was adequate but not impressive. The worst issue was our assigned unit was already occupied and we walked into another families condo! The staff offered an apology and moved us. Once in our unit, we contacted owner services. We stayed at Havasu Dunes for the night and moved to Indio, a 3 hour drive, for the remainder of our stay. We will not return to Havasu Dunes and sincerely question the decision to add this resort to the Worldmark portfolio.

Just spent four nights at Lake Havasu Arizona resort. Makes me wonder why our club invested in this property! Completely below Worldmark standards. We stayed in a studio unit and I realize they are smaller than other units but this was extreme! Very small rooms, you had to stand right up against the toilet and tub to close the door to the bathroom! The bedroom with a queen size bed barely have enough room to walk around it and the closet had only 2 feet of space to hang clothes due to a big wood incased box in the middle of it. It had a minimal swimming pool, room for about six people in it out once! They did provide free Internet and free laundry machines which were located outside of the unit. You get traffic noise no matter which unit you stay in, although the ones in the back are a little quieter. Doubt I will ever return to this Worldmark location!

We stayed in a 1 Bdrm unit for the annual balloon festival, January 17-19, 2016. When we checked in we were given a choice of a view unit or quieter unit further back. We chose the view, and yes the traffic noise from Hwy 95 + Havasu Road is noticeable. This is not a place to stay and relax but that's not why we were there. We were able to watch the balloon mass ascensions actually better there than from the festival grounds.

The unit is a bit less than typical Worldmark. No in unit washer/dryer, no tray of spices. Everything was clean. Only 4 place settings so the dishwasher got used every day. For two people it was adequate, for 3-4 it would be a tight fit. To access units there are steep narrow concrete stairs. There is a tiny patio with 2 chairs and a small plastic end table. Parking is covered, 7' 3" height and 9' wide between the concrete pillars at the entrances. We have a small SUV and we fit ok. There are a few surface parking spaces down by the dumpster.

We were there Saturday when they had a welcome breakfast. It was coffee, juice, donuts, bagels, English muffins and yogurt. The resort manager was there to answer questions and two activity providers talked about what they offered.

We were given an excellent map when we checked in, showing grocery stores and more. We used it every day to navigate our way around.

We have been here for 5 days and find it enjoyable. We have 15 condos in this resort and should be getting more soon. It is an older resort however it is very clean and well kept up. They are one level so there is no noise above but several outside steps to each condo.
The lobby isn't the same as ours. More like a hotel. No movies etc. They give out one discount restaurant coupon only to Juicies. It is very good. We are in a front 2 BR that has a mountain & lake view. Lots of traffic noise during the day but not at night. The view is worth it. There is a lot to do here and easy access to the resort. 3 nice pools but not warm enough to swim right now. I think it is a nice addition to our choices.
There are not washers and dryers in the units. There is coin laundry by the lobby.
